The proposed hybrid university connects personalised digital learning, hands-on practice, industry residencies and an interdisciplinary campus experience. It is an educational vision, with establishment, programmes and regulatory approvals still to be developed.

A learner’s journey could move between flexible digital foundations, mentored practice, live projects and an immersive campus. Each layer serves a different purpose; together they could make learning both more accessible and more applied.

Personalised foundations

Technology-supported pathways help learners establish prerequisites and build understanding at an appropriate pace. Outcomes would need to be evaluated as the model develops.

Studios, labs and projects

Future hands-on centres and campus facilities support practice, experimentation and teamwork, with human guidance at their core.

Industry and city residencies

Learners could work with enterprises, laboratories and city operators on clearly defined projects, subject to appropriate supervision and agreements.

Campus synthesis

Advanced labs, interdisciplinary studios, research and capstones bring knowledge together through shared work and community life.

Proposed academic foundations

Founding areas under consideration include business and entrepreneurship, family-managed business, technology and AI, design and engineering. Health and medicine are also being explored, subject to regulatory and institutional feasibility. These are proposed areas, not approved degree-granting schools.

Room for the model to evolve

Future possibilities include law, arts, aviation, environmental science, hospitality, nursing, renewable-energy engineering and sports science. Decisions should follow academic need, qualified leadership, facilities, feasibility and approvals.

One campus. A wider learning ambition.

The source concept sets a long-term ambition of approximately 50,000 learners physically on campus at maturity. Hybrid reach would be a separate population served online and through future learning centres. Neither is current enrolment, and the two must not be combined. The number, locations and structure of learning centres remain to be determined.

Learning from an existing foundation

Malpani Group’s education and technology experience informs the proposed model. The opportunity is to draw on practical experience while building the governance, academic teams and research culture a new university would require. Existing group capabilities are not evidence that NeoBharat is already operational.
